THE SUPER FRECATOR - SKIN GROWTH REMOVAL MACHINE

This machine is AMAZING!!! I have gotten awesome results from it! The name of the machine is called The Super Frecator. It is for permanent removal of minor skin irregularities.
How does it work?
The Super Frecator 6800 uses a high frequency electrical current that delivers a precise spark through a micro-needle to cauterize, dehydrate, and desiccate skin growths. During the procedure the micro-needle remains above the skin surface; it does not penetrate the skin. As the growth is removed, a natural protective coating or scab develops that cover the treated area. Within a week or two, the scab will fall off and be replaced by healthy new skin cells, and will gradually take on the color of the surrounding tissue. In most cases, there is no visible indication of the previous growth.

How does it differ from liquid Nitrogen?
The Super Frecator 6800 is usually more effective than liquid Nitrogen in removing skin growths. Frequently, more than one application of liquid Nitrogen is needed to remove a growth, whereas only one Super Frecator treatment is usually necessary. Also, Super Frecator treatments are less expensive.

Are the skin growths safe to remove? In most cases, skin growths are non-cancerous and can be safely removed. The treatment is performed by a professional, certified technician who has been trained to identify the different types of skin growths appropriate for the treatment. All treatments are performed using the strictest sanitary procedures.

Is the treatment permanent?
Yes! Once a skin growth has been treated with the Super Frecator it does not return. However, if your skin is prone to these types of growths, new ones may appear elsewhere on your face and body.

The Super Frecator is successful in removing the following types of skin growths:
Age SpotsSun Spots

WAXING DO'S AND DON'TS

Waxing is one of my favorite things to do! For so many people, it is their best option. Laser is too expensive, shaving may hurt and cause a rash, and products like nair just don't do the job.
Here are a few tips on the do's and don't for waxing:
-DO exfoliate the area 12-24 hours BEFORE a wax - (the hair comes out so much easier, and exfoliating the dead skin off helps the wax stick to the hair more than the skin)
-DO have your hair at least 1/4 of an inch, and no more than and 1 inch long - (if it is too short, it will not come out)
-DO if your hair is too long, trim it BEFORE a wax (it will hurt more if you don't)
-DO release your ingrown hairs 3-4 days BEFORE a wax but DO NOT remove them
-DO exfoliate the area starting 48 hours AFTER a wax (it helps keep ingrown hair from forming, or to a minimum)
-DO apply a cool compress AFTER a wax (it helps with swelling and redness)
-DO take some ibuprofen or tylenol an hour before your wax (it will help with pain, and swelling)

-DO NOT take hot baths for the remainder of the day (heat will irritate it more)
-DO NOT go in the sun, or tan for at least 24-48 hours after (you shouldn't anyway)
-DO NOT wear tight clothing after a wax (irritation and rubbing will cause ingrown hairs)

There are also a few contraindications you should know about before getting waxed. *If you are on any acne medications like accutane or retin A or renova, you should stop using them a week prior to getting waxed. If not, your skin will most likely tear.
*If you are on any birth control, antibiotic, or blood thinners, you should not get waxed. These medications make your skin thin, and can tear your skin if you get waxed.
*If you are on your period, or pregnant, waxing is fine, it is just a little more sensitive.

I hope this helped some of you thinking about getting waxed, and didn't know what to expect. If any of you have questions about waxing, or anything else, please ask! And if you do want to make an appointment, just email me, or call me. Thanks!

WHAT ARE YOU USING?

This question is one of the most important questions I ask my clients....
"What are you using at home?" (Products)
Whatever is going on with your face whether it is acne, dryness, oiliness, or whatever, products are a huge part of that. Home care is vital when it comes to your skin, not only for everyday maintenance, but for your treatments also. If you're thinking about getting any sort of chemical peel, prepping your skin at home is key for an amazing result. It is SO worth the extra money to get good skin care products! Its your face! If you have an esthetician already that you can ask, or you want to ask me a question about products, please do! Or if you have any feedback, I would love to hear from you.

REFERRALS = FREE TREATMENTS

I am starting up a referral program. This is for my existing clientele, and also anyone who would like to be part of it. Tell your friends and family about me, and when they make an appointment or come in they have to mention you were the one who sent them. If I get 3 people that mention your name I will give you $50 towards any treatment you want. Thanks you guys!
